剧情：In2010DavidCrowley,anIraqveteran,aspiringfilmmakerandcharismaticup-and-comingvoiceinfringepolitics,beganproductiononhisfilm’GrayState.’Setinadystopiannear-futurewherecivillibertiesaretrampledbyanunrestrainedfederalgovernment,thefilm’scrowdfundedtrailerwasenthusiasticallyreceivedbytheburgeoningonlinecommunityoflibertarians,TeaPartyactivistsaswellasmembersofthenascentalt-right.InJanuaryof2015,CrowleywasfounddeadwithhisfamilyintheirsuburbanMinnesotahome.TheirshockingdeathsquicklybecomeacausecélèbreforconspiracytheoristswhospeculatethatCrowleywasassassinatedbyashadowygovernmentconcernedaboutafilmandfilmmakerthatwasgettingtooclosetothetruthabouttheiraims.
